Dear Resident
Between 930pm and 11pm on the 18th of October, a vehicle theft occurred on High Street Northchurch. It is suspected that keyless relay method has been used to clone the master keys which were in the victims property at the time. Keyless-car-theft targets vehicles that do not have an ignition or use a push button start. If you have a keyless car it is recommended that you use a faraday or signal blocking pouch to keep both sets of car keys in. Other deterrents to use can be a steering wheel lock or foot pedal lock. Some key fobs allow you to turn off the remote locking feature at night. Contact your dealer to see if your vehicle uses this feature.
